Magic Scraper, for your desktop.

Paste a link and it finds the data — the same detection as the extension, running in an app of its own. Then it keeps going when you aren't there: it checks the pages you care about on a schedule, tells you what changed, and hands the rows to the tools you already use.

What it adds to the extension

An extension lives in a browser tab. The app doesn't have to.

01

Runs on a schedule, with the app closed

Save a job as a monitor and run it daily or every 15 minutes to 12 hours. It keeps the last runs and shows exactly what changed — new, removed and changed rows, before and after — with a notification when something moves.

02

The page behind every row

Opens each row's link and adds what it finds there — specs, SKU, availability, contact details — as extra columns.

03

Many start pages at once

Paste a list of links or import them from a file. Every page is read with the same settings into one table, with a column saying where each row came from.

04

Sites you sign in to

Sign in once in an ordinary browser window; the session is reused for runs and monitors — an internal dashboard, a supplier portal you have an account with.

05

Sends the rows onward

Webhooks to Zapier, Make, n8n, Slack or your own server when a run finishes or a monitor finds changes, and a local API to start runs and fetch rows as JSON or CSV. API documentation.

06

Sorts rows for you, offline

Magic AI labels every row with categories you choose — product type, lead type, sentiment — using a model that runs on your computer. Optional, and nothing is sent anywhere.

If the extension already does what you need, keep using it — it isn't going anywhere.

Polite by default

Out of the box it follows a site's robots.txt, stays on the sites you started from, pauses between pages and stops at a page limit you set. When a site asks you to confirm you're human, it opens an ordinary browser window so you can do it yourself.

Your rows are saved on your computer as they arrive, so a crash or a power cut doesn't lose a run. Exports are Excel, CSV or JSON.

Reasonable questions

When is it available?

Soon. Email us and you'll get one message when it launches.

Will my extension licence work in the desktop app?

They are separate products: the desktop app has its own licence, for one computer with a year of updates. The extension stays free, with its one-time Pro.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, with every feature switched on, limited to 100 rows per run and one scheduled monitor run a day.

Does it send my data anywhere?

No. Runs, results and logins stay on your computer, and it has no analytics. Besides the sites you scrape and the webhooks you set up, it confirms your licence with Gumroad and checks for new versions (which you can turn off). Everything it sends.
