Feature requests
Ask for it. Vote for it.
Tell us what Magic Scraper should do next, or press the arrow on someone else's idea. The most-wanted requests are built first, and you can be told when yours ships. No account, no cookies.

Ask for something
One idea per request. Say what you are trying to get done, not only the feature: “I check 40 competitor prices every Monday” helps more than “add monitoring”.
New requests are read before they appear, usually within a couple of days. What is stored, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
Reasonable questions
How are requests chosen?
By how many people want them, how many people they would help, and whether they can be built without breaking the promises the extension makes: no account, no server for your data, nothing that gets past a site's protections.
What do the statuses mean?
Open: posted and collecting votes. Planned: we intend to build it. Building: it is being worked on now. Shipped: it is in an update, and the changelog says which. Declined: we won't build it, and the note says why.
Why doesn't my request appear straight away?
Every new request is read before it is shown, which keeps spam and duplicates off the board. It usually appears within a couple of days, sometimes merged with one that says the same thing, and your vote moves with it.
Is my email address shown or shared?
No. It is optional, never shown, never shared, and kept for one purpose: telling you when that request ships. Ask at support@magicscraper.app and it is deleted.
Can I ask for a site to be supported?
Yes. Put the site's address in the details and say what you need from it. Sites that forbid automated collection or need a bot check passed, such as LinkedIn, can't be added, and the reply will say so.
Is this for the desktop app too?
Yes. Choose Desktop under What is it for. The desktop app for Windows and Linux is coming, and requests for it help decide what it does first.
